Hey gals!  First off I wanted to apologize for being SOOOO MIA this week!  It has been an insanely crazy week but in a very good way.  Work has been amazing, life has been amazing, everything has been amazing.  It’s just all happening at once!  As some of you may know, I am leaving tomorrow on a trip to PARIS!!!  The wonderful man in my life decided to spoil me with a romantic getaway that unfortunately I have waited until the last minute to prepare for.  So now I’m scrambling to get it all done this week. You know how that goes…  So anyway, I wanted to apologize for my lack of posts and want to apologize for my lack of posts that will not be coming in the next week.  But if any of you want to keep up with what’s going on with Big City Beauty, follow me on Twitter!  I’m ALWAYS on there…

Okay so on to today’s post.  I wasn’t even going to post about anything in particular today, just wish you all a wonderful week while I was away.  But I just received in the mail my new NYX Cosmetics Makeup Artist Kit – S101 and I just couldn’t wait to show it to you guys.  NYX is one of my favorite makeup lines of all time.  Their colors and pigments, whether its for eyes, lips, or face, are so amazingly vibrant and fun that you can have the time of your life experimenting and playing around with them.  It’s the perfect line to release your inner makeup artist like I have.  And I can’t wait to bring this kit with me to Paris so I can play around some more.

Just take a gander at the pics below and you will know why I was drooling from the moment I opened up the packaging.  Oh, and please pardon the shadows that appear in the last two shots.  I didn’t have a whole lot of time to be a master photographer but I think you can pretty much get an idea what the pigments look like from these shots.

Anyway, I hope you guys check out some of the other stuff from NYX.  My all time faves from them are their Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils.  They are the most amazing bases you will ever find!  And trust that I will be posting a whole lot of pics from “Pah-ree” using my new kit!  Love you guys and will miss you much!!!
