Hey babes!  I just wanted to share with you guys this new Sephora-exclusive from Laura Mercier.  It’s called the Laura Mercier Eye Book ($45) and it’s the perfect little palette for any lovely lady.  The palette contains two eye color quads (Gold Glisten and Silver Shine), two eye liners (Mahogany Brown and Black Ebony), as well as a mini double-ended eye color/flat eye liner brush.  You can’t beat the price, as just the brush alone would normally make up for it.  Plus, it’s perfect for doing makeup on the run and great for creating a variety of looks like the smoky eye.

Just note that the silvers are more of a blue-ish silver and the browns are more on the golden side.  Also, don’t freak out if you get a powder eye liner in your palette as the liners need to be applied wet for a longer lasting look.  ;)

So with a prelude to my obsession with pistachios, you will now understand why I die for Laura Mercier’s Crème de Pistache Body Collection.  Each item in this collection was inspired by the nutty aromas of pistachio desserts and contains the essences of pistachio nut, almonds, pralines, hazelnuts, and freshly whipped cream.  You literally feel like you are swimming around in a big bowl of pistachio ice cream (a total dream come true for me).  They also each contain Vitamins A and E to soothe, moisturize, and condition the skin while leaving your skin with a softly scented veil of Crème de Pistache fragrance.  Its absolutely delish!!!

Laura Mercier Kohl Eye PencilLaura Mercier has been one of my favorite makeup lines for quite some time.  From the first time I tried their Creme Eye Colours, I was hooked.  The most recent addition to my makeup bag is Laura Mercier’s Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Gold.  This ultra-creamy eyeliner is practically fool proof because it’s so simple to blend allowing you to get the perfect smokey eye.  It comes in 7 different shades, my favorite among them being the black gold.  It has just the right amount of gold shimmer that can even make dark brown eyes pop.  It’s definitely been my eyeliner of choice this summer so far.  I have yet to try out some of the other colors offered, so if any of you have tried them, please let me know what you think!  I’d love to hear from you.
