New Year’s Eve Look

Happy First Monday of the New Year ladies!!!  I just wanted to share with you guys some items I recently purchased from MAKE UP FOR EVER and incorporated into my New Year’s Eve look this past holiday.  I am super excited about my recent purchases from Sephora.com and although I didn’t use all of them this time, I will definitely be using them together in the near future to show you guys.  The colors actually come from their Fall 2009 look that I have been dying over for quite some time.  I purchased two of their eye shadows (#92- Matte Brilliant Purple and #169- Iridescent Anthracite) and two of their Aqua Eyes liners (11L- Metallic Purple and 21L- Dark Metallic Grey). Aren’t they pretty!?!  And don’t they just look like Big City Beauty colors?

Anyway, my boyfriend and I decided to take it a little easy this year and ended up ringing in the new year at our favorite French bistro in NYC, Deux Amis.  So because we weren’t doing anything too crazy, I decided to keep my makeup look fairly simple.  I literally used only two eye shadow colors, one eye liner, and mascara! It’s such a simple look that anybody can recreate it with ease.  But most importantly, I was so happy to use some of my new MUFE digs.

I started with MUFE ES #169 in the outer corner/contour and blended in M.A.C. ES Crystal Avalanche from the inner corner.  I lined my upper lids with MUFE Aqua Eyes 21L (which is literally the same color as the shadow) and the bottom lids with M.A.C. ES Crystal Avalanche.  I used YSL Singulier Mascara and VOILA!  My 2010 New Year’s Look was complete!  I hope you like it and wish you all the Happiest New Year yet!
